Verdict

JUST FINE made a promising debut in a decent contest over 7f at Lingfield and made the expected progress to win on his second start over a mile at Sandown. A Derby entry, The Queen’s colt has been given a mark of 90 but is fancied to make a winning start in handicaps. The Flying Ginger warrants respect following a fine run in this grade at Newmarket while Heights Of Abraham went down with all guns blazing at Ayr after winning on soft going at Musselburgh. Haydock winner Dubai Honour is progressing but Classic Lord will have to overcome an 8lb rise and a steep rise in class to complete the hat-trick. Grantley is tough and could sneak into a place.
