FAIR MINDED is only 1-18 but ran well in October and was well supported for a Punchestown Handicap on New Year’s Eve. She looked like winning that day but faded from the last and can gain compensation on this quicker ground. Hide Out was weakening when falling in the latter event but Five Buttons, who showed nothing in three earlier runs over timber, did very much better on his handicap debut at Punchestown and looks a major threat. Danegeld doesn’t win often but has plenty of form good enough to get involved though some rain would aid his cause.
