Verdict

Conflated comes out quickly after pulling very hard and running out at Thurles a week ago. Jamie Codd takes over and will need to settle him though he's up against a couple of promising types. Meticulous has a superb pedigree and attracted strong support on his bumper debut at Killarney where he always travelled smoothly and quickly put the race to bed. He's undoubtedly taking on a better rival here in MT LEINSTER, a 22l winner at Ballinrobe in September before finding the high-class Malone Road too good at Punchestown. It should be a fascinating clash but it's Willie Mullins' charge who just gets the nod.
