Verdict
FELIX YONGER, who chased home Simonsig in the 2012 Neptune at Cheltenham, hasn't run over hurdles since Punchestown the following month. Subsequently he's won four times over fences including a Grade 2 at Cork in December and should be too good for these. Jennies Jewel has also been chasing though her best recent run came in a very tough handicap over timber at Navan when third conceding lumps of weight. Gerdago has some very strong form on the Flat and over hurdles but a strike-rate of 1-22 is disappointing though he's still only five. Western Boy's close second to Vautour in a Grade 2 at Punchestown last January is stand-out form and he returned to hurdling with a good run at Clonmel last week following an unsuccessful spell over fences. Golantilla is still in two races at Cheltenham and it would be no surprise to see him head there with a victory under his belt as he ran extremely well behind Sizing John in a Grade 1 here in December when subsequent Grade 2 winner Sub Lieutenant was just in front.
