Torpichen hasn't run on the Flat since scoring at the Curragh last April but he's been busy over jumps and could hardly be in better form having won over fences at Listowel last month. He looks certain to go well but faces a stiff task conceding weight to in-form rivals including KING OF ARAN, who returned to action from a long break with a fine victory in an amateurs event last month and gets the vote from just 6lb higher. Dermot Weld has several good chances today and Truthwillsetufree is another of them. The daughter of Dalakhani has only had four starts and was staying on so strongly at the finish over 1m1f at Listowel that this sort of trip looks a better option. Strandfield Lady loves this track and continues to perform with credit from around the same mark so she's another who should get into the firing line.
