        Verdict

        Rose Ransom has only shown moderate form to date and makes her handicap debut on a lowly mark as a consequence. Better is expected but the opposition is decent and Versilia Gal is likely to be in the firing line once again as she was at the Curragh last week where she was conceding almost a stone to Lake Louise and only beaten just over a length. HARMONIC NOTE was also behind Lake Louise when they met at Navan on Thursday and the weights just about favour her. She probably found the heavy ground and mile trip just taxing her stamina and today's conditions should prove ideal. She's given the nod though Rontique showed his first sign of ability behind the very useful Kingsbarns at Navan and makes his handicap debut from what could prove to be a lenient mark.
