Verdict

Dermot Weld complicates matters by saddling BIG BREAK and Thunder Mountain and with Pat Smullen choosing the former she should come out on top despite the latter having performed in stronger company. Big Break looked one to follow when catching the eye on her Galway debut and showed the benefit when scoring in impressive style over the C&D last month and is expected to go on to better things. Magician had shown promise before a very easy victory in testing ground at the Curragh and though the form of Dubaya's Navan success has taken a knock she was a surprise winner and there's much more to come. Both Canary Row and Dont Bother Me have been performing with credit in strong company and are not out of this.
