A really tough handicap but five favourites have won in the past eight years so the market could prove a strong guide. Ten Fires is a couple of pounds out of the handicap but that shouldn't be a problem as he made a very reasonable comeback after a long absence over a trip too short at Naas and should get among the prize money from his lowly perch. Red Vinto is another at the foot of the weights with a chance though the testing ground could prove his undoing while Got Attitude and Mr Warbucks, though arriving here in good form, could be a little high in the weights. The top four in the handicap are all used to racing in better company but it could be the race won over 2m3f here last month in which BY THE HOUR beat Questions Answered and Deal Done that holds the key and the winner is taken to defy a 7lb rise.
