Verdict

Joseph O'Brien saddles both the rapidly improving Degraves, a comfortable winner over a mile on soft ground at Navan, and Franklin Street, a Listowel nursery winner who ran well when conceding lumps of weight in a lucrative auction race at Naas on Sunday. Easy Galway winner Persia never looked like winning in a Newmarket Group 3 next time while this is a big ask for a newcomer and his stable companion Dawn Rising, a brother to Group 1 winner Sovereign, should do better next year. JUSTIFIER won a Listed contest at Tipperary before beaten in a Curragh Group 2 and though unable to concede 3lb to Fort Myers at Dundalk that could turn out to be a decent run so he gets the nod.
