Jim Bolger's horses continue in excellent form and though MCCABE was beaten a long way by Mythical over a mile at Gowran he was up with the pace throughout so the drop in trip won't be a problem. Joven couldn't go the pace when the leaders quickened over 6f at Fairyhouse but stayed on well enough and will have come on a bundle for the experience. San Pedro was staying on nicely over a mile here last week so could find this on the sharp side while stable companion Paradiso was beaten a long way at the Curragh in August. Ebony Maw hails from a yard in good form and will have benefited from his run over a mile on heavy ground at Gowran.
