In depth

Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won the last five of these including with Gleneagles, Churchill and Anthony Van Dyck a year ago. ARMORY and Toronto represent the yard this year with the former looking the pick. He was beaten just over a length by today's rival Justifier when both made their debuts here last month but looked more in need of experience and has subsequently won very impressively at the Curragh. Toronto showed the benefit of his opening run with a smooth victory over this track and trip and the half-brother to the brilliant Canford Cliffs is no second-string here. Zarzyni could hardly have won any easier at Gowran though faces much better rivals but Innervisions caught the eye behind Windracer at the Curragh and deserves a crack at this level.
