Verdict
Machiavelli produced his best run to date over 1m2f on this track last month when only narrowly beaten into third. He didn't quite run as well at Roscommon subsequently and faces a longer trip on much quicker going. Flindt landed a Sligo handicap on Tuesday for which he's penalised 6lb. That was only his sixth start and there's more to come, as there is from RAVEN'S HAT. John Oxx' filly returned to action last month and caught the eye behind the in-form Rockfish, who was receiving 13lb, and normal progress can see her in the winner's enclosure. Rince Deireanach was a long way behind For Pleasure at Navan and the winner should confirm the form despite struggling from his revised mark.
