Many of these have seen better days and have dropped in the ratings accordingly. That's certainly the case with Red Avenger, who rarely runs away from Dundalk these days but who has won from a 20lb higher mark in the past. Masalai has started favourite on his last three runs at Dundalk following a victory there but has been looking a few pounds high while Waterboy's latest effort on the Polytrack was over 1m4f and this is a dramatic drop in trip. The progressive three-year-old So Enjoy hasn't run since October so in a wide-open contest it's the veteran DINKUM DIAMOND who gets the nod as he's 33lb lower than when last successful which was admittedly a long time ago.
