Pumaflor, Trinity Star and Mr Cool Cash are all previous course and distance winners and the latter pair will strip fitter for their comeback runs. Kings Academy appeared to stay upped to a mile at Nottingham but may find the going too fast. Zlatan has travelled up from Herefordshire off the back of a close second at Chepstow and is a pound lower so must have every chance. TAGUR looks the pick of Kevin Ryan’s two runners and appears to act on any type of surface. His latest fourth at Thirsk was another sound effort and he can pick up the winning thread again with Almunther unlikely to enjoy this drop in distance and drawn widest of all. Thirsk second Zeshov looks the pick of the remainder.
