Dermot Weld has won three of the last seven and Frankie Dettori has come over to ride HAZAPOUR, who he was on board when fifth in the Derby. The Derrinstown winner travelled well for much of the race on the Downs but failed to stay and this looks his trip. Fellow three-year-old Curly has her allowance to aid her cause and she impressed when making most at Gowran. She has much more to do here but wouldn't be running unless thought capable of stepping up. Her stable companion Deauville was beaten a head in this a year ago when odds-on and hasn't won subsequently but he's been running at the highest level and will appreciate dropping down in grade. Brendan Bracken was well beaten in this last year and prefers softer conditions but Turret Rocks won a Listed contest at Gowran before well beaten in the Group 1 Pretty Polly.
