In depth

Verdict

Agusta Gold is penalised for winning a heavy-ground bumper at Tramore but showed her versatility with a fine effort to chase home Mysloegin over 2m4f over hurdles on fast going at Wexford. Granny Maura was in contention when making a bad mistake at the last in that latter event and appears to be improving despite that being her eighth start over timber. Perle Rose, who finished a couple of lengths back in fourth, was staying on so should be suited by the longer trip. Winning point-to-pointer Ballybrowney Walk will have found 2m4f too short on her hurdling bow at Gowran so did well to finish third. DALOUGA has had five runs in bumpers and been placed in them all. She has a stayer's pedigree for jumping so should be ideally suited to this trip on her debut and is taken to make a successful start.
