Verdict

Aidan O'Brien generally sends the 'first team' out for this so MIKHAIL GLINKA, runner-up in the Group 1 Criterium De Saint-Cloud on his final juvenile start, will be expected to follow the likes of Yeats, Fame And Glory and his own sire Galileo and take this on his return as he looks very much a second-season type. Famous Warrior finished third to Noll Wallop in the 2000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown and wasn't beaten far by Mikhail Glinka at Killarney in August. He is held by Puncher Clynch on their run at Listowel in August and Jim Bolger's charge has returned in good style with a recent victory at Dundalk.
