Jim Bolger won this last year with the four-year-old Shreyas and this time around relies on the younger brigade in the shape of SHINTOH. The Giant's Causeway colt made a fine return when easily beating Encompassing at Navan over a mile and may just have found an extra two furlongs stretching his stamina behind Jan Vermeer in the Group 3 Gallinule Stakes at the Curragh. Famous Warrior has also been performing at Group 3 level and was only a length behind Puncher Clynch over an extra furlong here in April. He's the type to make further progress and looks a threat along with Sebastian Flyte, not disgraced behind Canford Cliffs in the 2000 Guineas at the Curragh and when fourth behind Carraiglawn on the same track a couple of weeks ago. The fillies Miss Laa Di Da and Anaverna need to improve while Lingapour is taking a step-up in class and distance.
