Verdict
Sea Flower sets the standard in this maiden after finding just the one too good on both starts but with her price likely to be prohibitive we opt for Mark Johnston's newcomer VOLCANIC ASH while King Of Aquitaine can build on his debut effort. Although this yard do better with older debutantes this selection is related to a juvenile debut winner who went on to be smart over this trip. Other winning members of his family also add plenty of speed to the pedigree and any market support will be interesting. Sea Flower's first two runs have both been at this track the latest over this far. She looks booked to run well again but at the likely price she looks opposable. King Of Aquitaine only beat a couple home on debut but that form has some strength to it and the run should bring him on nicely. Trainer Tom Tate had two entered in this originally but has opted to leave in just Five To Five who has a mixed stamina and pace bloodline but Volcanic Ash looks more promising on paper and has the vote.
