GREEK ISLANDS looks the pick here, having improved well from his debut, and carries our confident support in preference to Stentorian and Jeeran. Godolphin have two here that could be confused, but Greek Islands looks the clear pick over stablemate Windward Islands. Second last time out here, he steps up in trip, and he stepped up in performance that day. Although prominent for much of the race, he never really looked like winning it once he'd been headed, by one of Saeed bin Suroor's runners. A 200,000 Euro purchase, he's got an entry for a listed race in the autumn at Redcar. Jeeran is one of two debutants, but Clive Brittain knows how to get them winning first time out. Josie's Dream is the other one having his first public outing; he could be anything, but doesn't seem to be anything out of the ordinary. Mark Johnston's two year olds have a habit of improving from their first run, so Stentorian should be considered, although he'd need to progress quite a bit. This sort of race demands a market check, but we'll be siding with Greek Islands.
