A pretty tight handicap this, with preference being for MEDICI TIME, ahead of Solemn and Perlachy. The selection has strange, but symmetrical form figures, winning every other race in his last six outings, and finishing well down the field in the others. If the sequence is maintained, he'll win today. Perlachy's never won on turf, his seven career wins coming on the all-weather. But after a near three year absence he ran well enough at Beverley last time out, following his return to Derek Shaw's yard, so they must fancy he can break his duck. Milton's Bradley Solemn has paid his way over the years and is the top rated here, but is eight pounds higher than his last win, and he's never won off such a high mark as he's on now. Thoughtsofstardom gains weight all round despite carrying a six pounds penalty for winning at Folkestone last time out, and connections may be looking for another quick payday before he's racing off a revised mark. Hugely competitive, with preference being for Medici Time.
