In depth

Verdict

Jim Bolger is a master at placing his horses and though CEOL NA NOG (NAP) has been raised 11lb for her facile victory at Navan on Saturday she gets into this rated race with a very fair weight and should complete a hat-trick despite dropping down in trip. Madroos is also by Teofilo and showed a very good attitude to hold off Kitten Loves Roses over a mile at Gowran and won't be troubled by the extra two furlongs. Glenmayne landed a Limerick maiden over a mile but didn't really fire in a Curragh handicap over this trip while Roibeard has disappointed since a winning debut on fast going at Down Royal. Propriano hasn't been disgraced but needs to find another gear.
