In depth

Verdict

Balanced Approach will have needed the run at Naas on Friday and Kevin Manning rides again which suggests Wexford Opera will also be better for the run after a long break. A couple of these have been racing over hurdles including Hernandoshideaway, who has been in poor form after winning a Redcar seller in August. Try Again is another who has shown nothing over timber but had run quite well at Dundalk previously. Bigger And Better won at Salisbury for Richard Honnon and was returning from a year off when runner-up at Navan in October, his first start for Tony Martin. If ready for this he looks well enough treated though CLAREGATE STREET has the more consistent form. Michael Halford's filly won a Naas handicap on ground with some give last summer and looks to have the scope to do better.
