Despite the field size, most have shown little, although Accountability is interesting for Ger Lyons after a single start for Charlie Appleby and Mufarrej is noted for the Weld team. MERRICOURT looks number one for the Lyons yard after shaping well on his seasonal reappearance when a respectable fifth in decent handicap company. He showed juvenile promise too and gives the distinct impression we've yet to see the best of him even though he's more exposed than his main rivals. Zaamar and Royal Highness delivered debuts of clear potential and are respected along with Silk Forest, a dual runner-up who could well emerge as the main danger.
