        Verdict

        Excelled is making steady progress and went the close when runner-up over today’s trip at Wolverhampton last time. But VISIONARA (NAP) is less exposed and, with further progress expected now handicapping after going close at Chelmsford, Simon Crisford’s filly can open her account. Powerful Star is another handicapping for the first time but Kwela has struggled since winning at Leicester in May and is dropped a couple of pounds. Mendoza’s earlier success came over 6f while Indian Sounds and Red Bravo look no nearer winning.
