CORBATA was the last winner John Oxx saddled back in November though he's only had a handful of runners. The son of Invincible Spirit gained that victory at Dundalk but showed that testing ground isn't a problem with a cracking effort at the Curragh where he was only run out of it close home. He just gets the vote here though the concession of lumps of weight to Sakhees Jack won't be easy as Paul Deegan's charge ran an excellent race at Gowran on Saturday where he just failed to hold the challenge of Ringside Humour. The trainer also runs Red Ivy, who also makes a quick reappearance after a fair effort in the 1000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown on Sunday. Blue Fragrance has been running well enough at Dundalk and should handle the conditions but Hat Alnasar has only raced on Polytrack so his suitability has to be taken on trust.
