The two previous renewals were run on testing ground and were won by horses drawn low. Incredibly, Jim Gorman, who trained last year's winner, hasn't had a winner since and Golden Shoe doesn't look to have much of a chance though Kevin Manning's presence in the saddle is interesting. Joseph O'Brien has been booked for NORVILLE, a comfortable winner at Dundalk in January and though unraced since he's likely to be fully tuned up to complete the double. Tar Isteach is an interesting entry on his first start for Tony Martin after showing promise for Tommy Stack while Princess Aloof makes a quick reappearance after her victory over 7f here on Sunday and a penalty is unlikely to prevent another big run. Beau Satchel and Beat The Ballot have been running well enough at Dundalk to get competitive as can Basilica, who almost made all at Dundalk a couple of weeks ago from the same mark. Rose Angel is another running well though she's now 9lb higher than when last successful.
