Three-year-olds are overdue a win in this and Legatissimo should make a bold bid dropping back in trip after landing the Nassau at Goodwood with French raider Cladocera behind. The latter had earlier finished third to AMAZING MARIA (NAP) at Ascot and David O'Meara's filly has won a couple of Group 1 contests since then. A victory in the Falmouth Stakes was followed by success at Deauville and she could prove the one to beat on that form. Euro Charline has also fallen victim to the selection recently and failed to repeat last year's Grade 1 win at Arlington when only fourth in Chicago last month while the remainder all look to have plenty to find including the progressive Ainippe and Group 2 winner Brooch, who finished ahead of Raydara at the Curragh in July.
