The eagerly-awaited clash of classic winners may not materialise if the rains arrive as dual Guineas winner Gleneagles will only run on fast ground. He should stay this longer trip if taking his chance but GOLDEN HORN may prove too strong. The Epsom Derby winner was not at his best when outbattled close home in the Juddmonte International at York last month but John Gosden's colt has beaten The Grey Gatsby twice now and collateral form with the latter gives him the beating of Royal Ascot winner Free Eagle. But Dermot Weld's charge may not have finished improving yet given his success at Ascot was his first start of the year and the French veteran Cirrus Des Aigles is never easily dismissed having won his seventh Group 1 race when scoring at Longchamp in May. Highland Reel landed a softer Group 1 than this at Arlington last month and looks up against it along with stablemate Found and Yorkshire Oaks heroine Pleascach.
