In depth

Verdict

Maoilin has been given a break since beating Bellagio Man in a Dundalk maiden in March and the latter went one better next time. The latter is trained by Ger Lyons who has Flagged entered here. A Limerick winner in April, she appeared to find soft ground against her at Killarney next time and should do better here. Malaysian beat the useful Belmont Avenue at Cork in September but hasn't replicated that form this season so, in the expectation of major progress, SWEET MOLLY MALONE, a half-sister to six winners including two Group 1 winners, can boost her paddock prospects with an opening victory. The remaining pair will need to find more.
