Sophie's Star made all on soft ground at Thirsk and though having no answer to the odds-on Eve Lodge in similar conditions at Lingfield might appreciate today's much quicker going. Devious Angel's victory came at Southwell and she's tackled much stronger company in subsequent runs while Hot Diggity Dog has performed a bit better than his form figures suggest. TARDIS, who went for £18,000 at the Breeze-Up, missed the break when favourite at Yarmouth before staying on strongly so should have learnt enough to make her allowance count here. Corinthiano is by Ribchester out of a 5f two-year-old winner so should have speed to burn.
