His Excellency showed promise in his first campaign and was made favourite on his return in a Roscommon handicap but he failed to last out the 1m4f trip on soft ground and this looks more his conditions. Hangar Five, who finished just in front of him at Roscommon, may also be better suited by the drop in trip and must be considered but GOLDEN STARLET deserves a change of fortune and gets the vote. Jarlath Fahey's filly has been beaten a short-head in two of her last three starts and may have been unfortunate on her first effort over this trip at Clonmel last time. Sixty Eight Guns had a neck to spare over Dearest at Wexford but the latter reversed the form when both were behind Kildare Kitten at Tramore on Saturday though both seem suited by 1m4f and this may prove too short.
