Salute Him was returning from a very long break at Cork last month and this eight-times winner can never be ruled out of contention though he'll have bigger fish to fry over the coming months. Another multiple winner, Ask Jack, is also returning from a break though he's Listed class as he showed when scoring on his final start at Cork. Noel Meade is wasting no time bringing out LECEILE quickly after the mare carried a big weight to a very easy victory at Naas on Monday. She'll be raised much more than the 5lb penalty she carries here and is therefore well in at the weights. Porthaw is progressing nicely and though it was only a modest maiden he won at Clonmel he made all for a game success and is at the right end of the weights for his handicap debut. Both Citizenship and Trans City would have to be considered if getting a run from their reserve positions.
