Burgundy Boy has run twice on heavy going since joining Dermot Weld and will be much better suited by these conditions. CARLO BIRAGHI made his debut on testing ground over 1m2f at the Curragh where he attracted good support and was always in the firing-line before pulling away at the finish. If he acts on this surface he'll take some catching. Giuseppe Garibaldi, who finished 8l third, has since won over 1m5f on fast going so it wouldn't be a shock to see him go close to reversing the form. Lucius Tiberius has improved with every run and though having more to do than when landing a Curragh maiden he's capable of making further progress. Cimeara won a handicap on heavy going here but couldn't make the transition to Group 3 at the Curragh while Dynabee only landed a Cork maiden by a short-head though had a bit in hand and has much more to offer.
