Aidan O'Brien has won seven of the last 10 renewals, all of them starting favourite, and HAIL will be expected to make it eight. He's shown good pace over a mile on both starts to date and probably came up against a useful winner in Alla Speranza at Cork. The stable's other entry, the newcomer Place Vendome, is a full-brother to the high-class Maids Causeway. Golden Halo has been going well but looked as though further would suit when staying on over a mile at Musselburgh while Regulation ran well for a long way behind Thomasgainsborough on his debut here last week and will have come on for the run. Takar also found a mile just stretching his stamina at this stage behind Call To Battle at the Curragh and with that under his belt he's one to keep an eye on.
