In depth

Verdict

Cerro Bayo made a winning debut at Roscommon in August and has raced in Pattern company subsequently. She ran much better than her finishing positions suggests in a Group 2 at the Curragh last time and looks better than the other four-year-old Sh Boom, who may do better over further. Dermot Weld tries AMMA GRACE in a visor after two fine runs in Group 3 company on this track. She won her maiden on soft going here in October so some rain would do her chances no harm. Thundering Nights landed a Galway maiden in testing conditions in October and was headed right on the line in a 1m2f Curragh handicap on her reappearance so this trip should be ideal. The remainder have a bit to find.
