In depth

Verdict

Farnborough gave supporters of his stablemate Carracci a fright when narrowly beaten at Dundalk in November and Ryan Moore prefers him over Canute though the latter showed good pace over 7f at the Curragh in August. Fleetfoot wasn't beaten far in three decent maidens and has every chance of making further progress this campaign. Johnny Murtagh has struck form and SHARLOUK caught the eye on his debut here in October. His pedigree suggests he'll do better in his second season so he gets the vote. Tipsy Scholars is a newcomer to keep an eye on.
