In depth

Verdict

BALLYELLIS (NAP) has been cleverly placed by his owner-trainer this season and now seeks a fifth success of the campaign. Of late he has proved himself far better than the claiming and selling grade in which his successes have been achieved and he has every chance of landing a fifth victory here, especially with Jordan Nailor claiming a valuable 5lb allowance. Baracalu defeated Percy by just under a couple of lengths at Market Rasen in December and there should be little between the pair at the revised weights with the Davidson inmate narrowly preferred to confirm placings and rated the main danger.
