Verdict

Rosselli cannot be considered here but any four of the others could go well, with our selection being Enchanted over Aversham. The selection is officially rated 88 but is a four-year-old receiving weight from both Aversham (rated 92) and Zariano (90). Will He Wish is rated 87 but has to concede weight all round, while Rosselli is rated 46. Okay, ratings only tell part of the story and the selection has not won since August of last year. However, her close sixth behind Frizzante at Newmarket last time suggests she comes here in good heart and she can make that pay here. Aversham has not won since his two-year-old days but good runs recently behind Pagan Storm and Membership in decent events bring him firmly into contention. The lightly raced Zariano flopped at Doncaster over a mile last time having previously won over the same trip. However, the handicapper might have to think about reassessing him downwards if he doesn't shine today. Will He Wish won well at Doncaster in September but has his work cut out conceding weight all round. This brings us back to the nominated pair, of which Enchanted gets the nod.
