James Dean should play a leading role in this competitive claimer but we're going to side with Fly In Johnny. The selection is well treated at the weights on official ratings and ran well enough in a course and distance seller last time to suggest that a race of this nature may come his way; Patrick Hills claims a useful 3lbs and the pair look sure to be in the mix. James Dean has the highest official rating but has no easy task on these terms and his initial mark may flatter him but it's possible that blinkers will bring him back to life. Betonart, Saafend Geezer, Bozeman Trail and Nikolaievich are others that may respond positively to the fitting of headgear whilst Flight Plan, Sistos Fascination and Gioacchino are all worthy of consideration. Quite a puzzle this one, Fly In Johnny is the tentative answer.
