        Verdict

        COBRA KAI won easily in this grade at Ripon and is receiving weight from all bar one of his rivals here, despite carrying a penalty. Maguro has been gelded since last seen but needs significant improvement. Flintstone has had the same operation and he is dropped in grade for this while Lightening Gesture has a first run for a new yard. Laguna Veneta has placed at Wolverhampton and Windsor this year but Punda Maria has been racing over longer distances.
