Becky Smith gets on well with THE RESDEV WAY, who has been raised 2lb for finishing second at Ripon last week but can race from his old mark. Tynwald started off last summer with a double at Bath but hasn't made the expected progress and was well beaten in a similar race at Newbury a fortnight ago. Wickywickywheels landed a 1m3f handicap here last month before finding Class 4 company beyond her at Musselburgh and she looks the main threat as Chief Craftsman was well beaten under Emily Easterby at Haydock.
Tynwald 10-1 (11-4) Prominent, keen, ridden 2f out, no extra, 5th of 12, 9 1/4l behind Mrs Meader (10-2) at Newbury 1m 2f hcp (5) gs in Jun.
Wickywickywheels (IRE) 5-1 (8-12) Held up, pushed along 4f out, never landed a blow, 8th of 10, 3 1/2l behind El Picador (9-11) at Musselburgh 1m 4f hcp (4) gd in Jun.
Chief Craftsman 16-1 (10-10) Always rear-division, 12th of 17, 10l behind Kingson (10-9) at Haydock 1m 4f hcp (5) gd in May.
The Resdev Way 8-1 (10-9) Held up in rear, headway over 3f out, challenged and edged right over 1f out, stayed on, held towards finish, 2nd of 11, 1/2l behind Saulire Star (10-5) at Ripon 1m 4f hcp (6) gd in Jun.
