Verdict

Optiva Star was a bit disappointing at Newbury after a debut third at Windsor but might enjoy the longer distance. Solutre made a promising start when only beaten half-a-length over this trip at Haydock and NAVAL POWER’s victory at Yarmouth has yet to be franked but the Teofilo colt showed a very willing attitude that day and should make a bold bid to defy his penalty. Nomaas is preferred to Oasis Power of the newcomers.
