        Verdict

        Divisionist was only beaten half-a-length on his reappearance at Wolverhampton. That was a big step up on his only run last year and he sets the standard here. But William Haggas trained the winner of that Wolverhampton contest so should know where he stands with Chelmsford fourth Istanbul Bey and AL NEKSH. The latter is a Zoffany colt who changed hands for 475,000gns as a yearling and he will be expected to start repaying some of that outlay sooner rather than later. He'll be suited by further in time but this looks a decent starting point. Shargiah, a half-brother to three winners including the smart Ransom Note, could also be a nice prospect.
