This is a modest affair but few can be seriously fancied. All of the likely principals have seen recent action with Arizona Snow finishing third at Chepstow on Saturday evening. Faintly has the highest official rating and won on Polytrack last month. But he looked far from keen back on Turf at Lingfield last Thursday and hasn't raced over a trip this short for almost two years. JOHNNY B GOODE also has a bit to prove having been a beaten favourite at Catterick on Friday but he'd won earlier at Thirsk and is fairly reliable at this level. Alhella drops into this grade for the first time so warrants respect, though has a poor strike-rate and may be better on the all-weather.
