A tricky finale to conclude with but will give the tentative vote to SEA SALT, with both Star Strider and Glencal worth noting. The selection won back to back races at Redcar and Ayr before being narrowly beaten behind Shotley Mac last time out. He looks more than capable of winning again off his current mark so is worth siding with once more before the handicapper gets a grip of him. Star Strider has been running into form of late and will be sure to be in the shake up once again. He was narrowly beaten at Newmarket on his penultimate run and was not far away when third of twelve at Salisbury last time out so is another for the short list. Glencal could not defy a five pound rise in the weights at Brighton last time out after winning at Chepstow. It could be that the handicapper has got him where he wants him and for that reason he is one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Sea Salt.
