RED CURRENT can land this at the expense of On The Map and No To Trident. The selection scored back to back victories last September but has been winless ever since. This drop in grade ought to suit and he did show a decent level of form when second at Newbury on his penultimate outing. He was a little out of his depth in very soft ground at Goodwood last time out and will fair better against this company and on a sounder surface. On The Map is not the easiest horse to win with and his form has not been good of late. That said he drops into claiming company for the first time and if up to his best he could be in the shake up. No To Trident caught the eye when second to Nawamees at this venue last time out. He is more than capable of winning a race at this level but does find it hard to get his head in front so he is one to treat with caution. So for the winner we return to Red Current.
