Verdict

Arlecchino's Leap is not certain to be suited by this track as he seems to save his best for the likes of Epsom, Goodwood and Brighton whereas SONG OF NORWAY appears to have no such preferences. She has only been seen once this term when a promising fifth at Newmarket back in mid-May and was a progressive sort for Chris Wall last term. Quick ground suits the Halling mare well and she's taken to handle the concession of weight to the quartet of three-year-olds, of whom Kitaaby looks the likeliest challenger. Brian Meehan's gelding produced some useful juvenile performances and beat his elders in solid fashion at Newbury last month. He is going the right way and looks dangerous off a 4lb higher mark. Le Roi Du Temps is in good hands and should come on for a satisfactory Doncaster reappearance in early June.
