Mbhali suffered four straight defeats in the winter campaign at Lingfield, sent off at under 7/4 each time. Mark Johnston has given the Cape Cross colt a good rest since those exertions and it'll be fascinating to see what sort of competitor returns to the fray. Maybe the market will provide a clue to stable expectations. Bajan Beauty has looked rather limited this term and MUSTADAAM makes more appeal on the back of promising efforts in maidens at headquarters. This doesn't look a strong maiden on paper and he's taken to score before going handicapping. The one to note in all respects is Upper Street as she makes her belated debut having presumably had problems. However, she has the most gorgeous pedigree and connections will be desperate to enhance her paddocks value with that all-important victory.
