Verdict
Danzili Bay should take the finale with Dickie La Davoir and Hart Of Gold put up as alternatives. Danzili Bay was racing off marks of 85 and 90 when with Peter Chapple-Hyam and while he isn't of that ability these days, he won well off a mark of 60 in an apprentice handicap and with no penalty accrued for that effort, he should be capable of running them close again. Dickie La Davoir is exposed though honest. He has had plenty of racing this calendar year but appears to thrive on it. Hart Of Gold seems capable of acting on any surface but that victory in a Catterick event seems pretty hollow on reflection. Mandarin Spirit is a hold-up performer that is arguably better on artifical surfaces. Rainbow Bay has done his winning at this time of the season so the market is best watched. Tag Team's effort at Nottingham was far better than his finishing position suggests and it is of interest that Chris Caitlin elects to ride despite being 3lb out of the handicap proper. Danzili Bay should win a low grade but competitive affair.
